Mooring Dolphin, Dock and Pier Fenders
Schuyler Rubber is proven the most durable and cost efficient fendering material for dolphins, piers, docks, camels, piles, oil rigs, and bulkheads.

Laminated rubber fenders are custom built to fit complex shapes and to cover large areas with a continuous sheet of rubber protection. Each section is delivered complete with hangers and weld tabs ready for installation. Timber and virgin rubber product s, on the other hand, must be modified at additional cost before a fender is created and fitted. Even then, these products cannot be fitted to many odd-shaped areas as Schuyler laminated rubber can.

Laminated rubber contains tough plies of nylon and cloth internal reinforcement which makes it ideal for the harshest of conditions. The chipping, cracking, and cutting often associated with timber and virgin rubber is virtually eliminated.

Laminated rubber is available in an unlimited number of sizes and shapes. The fenders can be pre-curved, tapered, and shaped to meet your specifications. Other fendering materials come in a comparatively narrow range of standard sizes.

The load deflection, energy absorption, and chemical properties of laminated rubber equal or exceed those of virgin rubber. In addition, laminated rubber is available in a broader range of softness (i.e. energy absorption) as compared to other fendering materials.

100% of the laminated rubber in each Schuyler fender is recycled from post-consumer waste. This will become more critical as private and public entities are required to increase their consumption of recyled products.

Schuyler has designed and manufactured fendering systems since 1950, and our satisfied customers include both the public and private sector.

Schuyler Rubber is less expensive to purchase and install. A handy, simple Cost Comparison Study of Laminated Rubber vs. Extruded Rubber is available for you to have a look at. You can easily calculate your savings.
